"No problem, just have her come to me when you don't have time."
Voltava readily agreed to Moen's request. After all, he didn't have much to do in Magnolia, and it would be good to have another child to teach when he wasn't playing.
As for royal princesses or future queens, these mean nothing to Master Voltava. He has already achieved great success, and his disciples, such as Moen, have surpassed him. He basically has no further ambitions.
For Voltava, he was simply helping Moen out.
The Emerald Princess is Moen's apprentice, so she's practically his grand-apprentice. Since Moen doesn't have time to teach her, it's only natural for him to help out.
"Thank you for your help."
Moen thanked the old man, saying he might need to trouble him often in the future.
"It's alright. Actually, there's an even simpler way to handle this: have her sign a contract with Lila. Isn't she a Celestial Spirit Mage? We can have Lila directly teach her."
Voltava waved his hand and then proposed a new idea, a more convenient way for Emerald to attend classes anytime, anywhere, instead of having to come to him.
"That's a good idea, but is the key to Lyra easy to find?"
Moen asked, "That would indeed be more convenient, but the problem is that Princess Emerald doesn't have the key to the Lyra Celestials."
The Lyra Celestials are clearly not one of the most numerous Celestial races, and the Lyra Key is relatively rare.
"Just ask Lila. She'll definitely not refuse a child who loves the harp. As for the key, if the king wants it, is it hard to find? It's not like it's the key to the zodiac."
Voltava smiled; knowing his old friend Lila as he did, he was sure there wouldn't be any problems.
There's no need to worry about the key either. Lila isn't a combat Protoss; in fact, she's practically useless in battle, unlike Canis Minor who can be kept as a pet.
Therefore, although the keys to the Lyra spirits are few in number, they are by no means sought-after. If the royal family wants to find them, they should be able to find them quickly by releasing the news.
"Alright, I'll call Emerald over tomorrow so she can meet with Lila directly. If they get along well, then I'll have the King go find the key."
Moen nodded. This was quite interesting. They could make a verbal contract with the Protoss first, and then go find the key to open the door.
After finalizing the matter, Moen left the theater. Emerald needed to be settled in today, and he would bring her to see the advisor tomorrow.
After leaving the theater, Moen went home, where he ran into Laxus at the door.
Laxus was packing his things, moving his everyday belongings to a carriage.
"Are they moving?"
Seeing this, Moen asked in surprise, "It took me quite a while to go out and deal with the troubles of the Heartfilia Corporation, and now Laxus's new house is already built."
"Yes, we moved."
Laxus answered casually as he put things onto the carriage.
"It seems everyone's skills are getting better and better; it's much faster than when we built the house for Mira's family last time."
Moen sighed, realizing he hadn't even seen Laxus's new house yet, nor had he been of any help; he'd completely missed out.
"My house is a little smaller than hers."
Laxus replied that he lived alone, while Mira's family consisted of three people, plus a study, guest rooms, and other facilities, making their house much larger than his.
"Indeed, there's no need to build it that big. We can expand it later if needed, since the surrounding land won't be developed anyway."
Moen nodded, understanding why the construction had been completed so quickly this time; the needs of one person and three people living together are definitely different.
As they talked, Moen went up to help move things. Laxus didn't have much stuff, and there was no need to move all the furniture. Before long, the two of them had finished moving everything, got into the carriage, and the two brothers headed out of the city.
"Didn't you invite everyone to a housewarming party?"
Inside the carriage, Moen asked, his expression tense, deliberately keeping talking to Laxus and observing her condition.
"No."
Laxus kept a straight face and gave a perfunctory answer. In fact, he could have easily ignored Moen, as he had done so before.
But the more a person pretends to be fine, the more they need to appear as if they are in complete control, and ignoring Moen makes it seem like they are guilty.
So even though he was feeling unwell, he still tried to keep up a casual conversation with Moen, unaware that this actually made him seem even stranger.
Moen's expression was strange, but he didn't expose Laxus. Laxus, who was always so proud, probably didn't know that for a Dragon Slayer Mage, not getting motion sickness was actually a sign of poor skill.
Soon, the carriage arrived at the forest on the eastern outskirts. Laxus's house was further out than Mira's family's, already in the forest, but still on the outskirts. Unlike Granny Poliusica, which was deep in the forest, Laxus was not so reclusive.
Helping Laxus move his things into the house, Moen looked around at the layout. Laxus's house was indeed a bit smaller than Mira's. Apart from the living room, dining room, kitchen, and bathroom on the first floor, the second floor only had two bedrooms (master and guest) and a music room, making it a small two-story house.
"Is this the room reserved for me?"
On the second floor, Moen opened the door to the guest room and called out.
Don't flatter yourself.
Laxus's indifferent voice came from downstairs.
"."
The latest novel is first published here!
Moen shook his head. To put it bluntly, who else but him would stay at Laxus's house? This guest room is superfluous!
After closing the guest room door, Moen went downstairs and looked at Laxus, who was packing his things.
"How about we invite everyone over for a housewarming party tomorrow?"
Moen asked Laxus, "Moving to a new house is no small matter. It's worthwhile for everyone to get together and have some fun. It would also add some life to the new house. It would be so lonely if it were all cold and quiet."
"Need not."
Laxus unsurprisingly rejected the offer without hesitation.
"."
Moen rolled his eyes, but there was nothing he could do. Laxus didn't want to, and he couldn't invite everyone over on Laxus's behalf.
"They completed the task assignment very well and quickly, and I was very satisfied, so I took the initiative to give them a bonus."
Seeing Moen sitting in the chair without saying a word, Laxus, carrying a box upstairs, casually said something.
"Oh?"
Moen's eyes lit up, and he looked somewhat surprised.
Laxus, who always hated his guildmates doing this kind of thing, actually offered the bonus? That's certainly surprising.
"How about we all get together for another meal?"
Moen suggested again that simply giving money was too formal; they should eat, drink, and have fun together to better integrate. He really wanted Laxus to host a party, since Laxus usually stayed on the sidelines.
Laxus's mindset has changed recently, which has given Moen hope of completing the quest "My Foolish Oni-san".
Therefore, Moen was very enthusiastic about this matter and wanted to strike while the iron was hot so that Laxus could integrate into the group more quickly.
If it can be completed, then it will be another "Golden Cloth". The "Golden Cloth" that was originally out of reach suddenly seems to be within reach, and there are two of them at once!
One of them is already basically in hand. The Heartfilia Foundation has no more obstacles in building a railway network in the south. All that's left is to wait. It's only a matter of time before they get their hands on this "Golden Cloth".
Changing Laxus's personality is a task that is far too abstract, unlike something as concrete as building a railway network.
Moen had been trying to do this, always inviting Laxus to participate in group activities, but with little success.
"There's no need."
Laxus went upstairs, leaving behind a refusal, which made Moen sigh. Sure enough, one can't take such big steps all at once; reaching this point is already quite an achievement.
